Open Scholarship and Research Integrity go hand in hand.
Open Scholarship promotes transparency and reproducibility of results to increase and widen the diffusion of knowledge. To maximize the benefits of Open Scholarship, there are several ethical, legal and social challenges.
Research integrity addresses these challenges. It relates to the performance of research to the highest standards of professionalism and rigour, and to the accuracy and integrity of the research record in publications and elsewhere.
