Consultation Terms and Conditions

• Researchers working with student volunteers commit to maintain clear and consistent communication with the student volunteers about project parameters, durations, and requirements.
• MakerSpace student volunteers enter into consultancy agreements with researchers on a voluntary basis and as such may withdraw from any project at the discretion of the volunteer or the MakerSpace manager.
• Student volunteers may only continue their consultancy project work so long as they remain in good academic standing in their course.
• Student volunteers shall be engaged to carry out work on a specific small element of a research project to enhance data gathering or preservation. They should not undertake a significant amount of research work themselves.
• Work carried out by student volunteers shall be clearly and fairly attributed to the student(s) and cited accordingly.
