Reference management software, or "reference managers" are used to store references and quickly add in-text citations to documents. It is recommended to use reference management software from the beginning of any research project.

The table below lists some options for reference management software, along with the services provided by the library. For in-depth information on any of this software, you can consult the guides supplied by the providers.

It's recommended to only use one reference manager at a time. If you are switching to a different manager, it is best to uninstall the previous one. Reference managers provide options for exporting your saved library of references to other reference management software.
