Lost & Found Guidelines

Description

The Library operates a Lost and Found to help reunite lost property with its owner.

If your property is found in the Library, staff will attempt to contact you by phone or email if there are contact details on the property. It is the owner(s) responsibility then to arrange collection of this property. If we cannot contact an owner, the following policy will apply:

Cash which is handed in at the Steward’s Desk

  • Cash found and handed in to the steward’s desk will be held until the end of the academic year.
  • If cash is not claimed by the end of the academic year, it will be donated to the University Chaplains to help support students at exam time.
